Plans to assist your business continuity review
Undertaking a business continuity review can often be a stressful time. At Seamless we work hard to ensure you have a testable and effective plan, removing any anxiety associated with it.
Our 4 step guide below , gives you the tools you need to complete a full plan review.
When undertaking a full continuity review, we advise that you first complete a business impact analysis of your various business areas i.e. what would be the impact on the business if the workforce was not available tomorrow morning for 12 weeks!. Whilst this data is being compiled and your stretch your imagination, you can move on to implementing the three top-level plans: crisis management, gold team and the silver team documents.
In addition, each team (at the lowest structure within the company) needs to complete a bronze team plan.
(Please refer to the guidelines document to help complete and populate this plan)
The last part of the planning process is to obtain a site threat assessment from each of your business locations.( not just the immediate area around your business. The Buncefield blast hit buildings ¾ of a mile away).
The plans will need regular testing. The pre emergency and post emergancy exercise lists can aid you in this process.
